Jude Powell is an English actor and filmmaker.

A 23-year-old from London, England, was brought up in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. At age 12, while attending a secondary school for the deaf, he discovered his passion for acting and the opportunity to perform on screen. During his time there, the school produced a short film that was submitted to the Into Film Awards. In 2017, the students had the incredible opportunity to attend the event at the Odeon in Leicester Square, London, where they walked the red carpet and met renowned actors such as Daniel Craig, Eddie Redmayne, and Ed Skrein.

He decided to join Deafinitely Youth Theatre from 2019 to 2024 and achieved the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Arts Awards. After that, he enrolled in The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama for the BSL Acting Intensive course led by Paula Garfield MBE and Jenny Sealey MBE in July 2024. He is also an alumnus of Vamos Theatre, having completed the Elevate Residency programme in 2025. Most recently, he was accepted into the National Youth Theatre, where he remains a member.

​Jude made his Netflix debut playing Lord Allison in the fourth series of Bridgerton. He also made his official television debut portraying Jake Green in the third series of The Chelsea Detective on Acorn TV, starring alongside Adrian Scarborough. Other credits include the role of the client in The Chris Baker Show and Adrian in Ava’s Story, and the Macmillan Cancer Support 'Fair Cancer Care' campaign.​​​

Jude developed his expertise in Creative Media in Berkshire, achieving high-level distinctions for his technical work at Berkshire College of Agriculture in Maidenhead.​ In February 2026, Jude served as Associate Director for Deafinitely Youth Theatre’s production of Shoebox at Camden People’s Theatre.

He actively writes and develops his own independent film projects, focusing on original storytelling and creating impactful narratives for the screen as he expands his career as a director.
